Perception versus reality
Have you ever looked at someone who has achieved greatness in some area and thought, “well, they sure are gifted” or “they are successful because they attended XYZ School” or “they are good at that sport because look how they are built”.
Their success that you are looking at is on the surface. You see the glory. You don’t see the grit. The hours upon hours upon hours they had to put in practice, saying no to gatherings with friends, missing out on things here and there. Grit is going to take you far. You don’t NEED to be gifted in business but you want to move forward, get your grit on.
People who make it, work for it. You can achieve anything you put your mind to.
Today, take a look back at your life to a time that was tough. A time that you thought you weren’t going to get through. Yet, you persevered. You achieved. You learned some pretty big lessons along the way too, I’m sure. Share that story with us so we can celebrate together. You deserve it!
